Thank you for agreeing to this interview, Mr. Smith.

Certainly, though I can’t talk long. What is it you would like to ask?

How did you get the job of working the front desk of the Paisley Foundation?

Ah. I was found to be proficient at keeping a low profile, a friendly face, and a tidy space.

What do you hope to achieve in your lifetime?

To help keep those around me safe.

Is it dangerous working at the Paisley Foundation’s front desk?

For me, no. For others who work here… It could prove dangerous, yes.

What brings you joy?

I honestly love the mundane tasks associated with the front desk. It is never boring.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I… would prefer not to say. I am a person who enjoys my privacy.

Do you have any hobbies? (Brina)

While I can’t afford the luxury of most hobbies, I do like to read in total solitude at night. I also have a katana and practice in my room.

A katana? In 1893?

Yes. It was a gift.

Interesting… Do you have any regrets?

Yes… Again, I don’t think it wise to discuss such things. And I really can’t talk for much longer.

What do you fear most? (A Pint Of Cthulhu)

…Causing the death of those around me.

Is that something that has happened?

… Yes.

What has been your toughest fight so far?

It is something I still struggle with: allowing anyone close to me. I simply cannot risk it.

One final question: Do you have any future plans?

I don’t think much on the future, to be honest. I must focus every bit of my attention on the present to ward off potential calamitous events. Unfortunately, that is all of my time for today. Good day.
